Welcome to
our community.

Where every dog is given the opportunity to thrive.

Our mission

Our mission is to empower every dog and owner to achieve a thriving partnership through effective training that prioritizes a healthy state of mind. We focus not only on obedience but also helping dogs enjoy the slower pace of life, develop healthy relationships, and empower owners to become the confident leaders their dogs need. We want you to enjoy your lives together, celebrating both the adventures and everyday moments - every dog and owner deserve the opportunity to thrive.

Training Services

Initial Assessment
$135

Let’s work together!

Have me come to your home and see you and your dog’s challenges first hand. Share with me in detail your struggles, experiences, and goals for yourselves and your dog. How would you like to ideally live your lives? What’s important to you when you think of living an enjoyable life with your dog?

We’ll discuss your goals, training program options and what you can do as a handler to improve your relationship with your dog. Together, we can determine what training program would be the right fit you, your dog, and your family.

BOARD & TRAIN
$3450

Make huge strides in your dog’s training!

Do you wish your dog had more training under their belt? Are you struggling with reactivity and other challenging behaviours? Are you and your dog eager to reach your full potential to enjoy your lives together? Our Board & Train program may be for you!

Address reactivity and problem behaviours such as aggression, anxiety, barking, whining, lunging, guarding, and poor manners.

Up your dog’s training game with a solid foundation of leash manners (heel, down, relationship with handler), household manners (value of “place” command, healthy boundaries and a relaxed mindset), impulse control, and off-leash reliability.

Standard B&T program length is 3 weeks. Program length may vary to suit needs or cover specific behavioural issues with weeks added. Includes 3 in-person follow-up sessions, fitted prong and e-collar.

This program is best suited to dogs with moderate to complex behavioural and mindset challenges. It is for dogs who would benefit from close observation and maximal opportunities to address behaviours throughout daily activities living full-time with a trainer.

DAY TRAIN
$1750

Get your training back on track!

Looking to raise the bar on your relationship with your dog and their training? Feeling stuck with leash manners, in-house behaviours and obedience?

Your dog will spend a 1 hour focused session with us, receiving training addressing mild behaviour challenges, obedience and fine-tuning leash skills.

We’ll begin work in the house and yard, progressing with taking the training out into the real world - meeting your dog where they are at with their training needs and helping you reach your goals.

Our Day Train program involves 10 consecutive weekday drop-offs for your dog’s 1 hour training session. Grab a coffee while you wait! Includes a 2 hour in-person training session at the end of the program, a virtual follow-up session, fitted prong and e-collar.

This program is best suited to dogs with mild behavioural challenges and obedience needs, without anxiety, aggression or other complex issues. It is for those who, once their dog has achieved their obedience foundations over the course of the program, want to learn the handling skills necessary to maintain their dog’s new training repertoire.

FAQ

  • Reach out and contact us! You can connect through our application form or send us a message if you have initial questions or want to chat.

Booking of all boarding or training programs first requires an assessment session.

  • An initial assessment, whether it be for day or overnight boarding, or for a training program, allows for an opportunity to meet and get to know each other. You will have ample time to share all there is to know about your dog, and I will have an opportunity to observe your dog’s behaviour and mindset. We can go over training program options, equipment recommendations, and other topics that will help you and your dog develop a healthier relationship. I want my clients to feel confident that they've asked all their burning questions and are comfortable with the fit. Together, we can set up your dog for a safe, successful, and enjoyable stay.

  • Yes! Your dog will receive their usual medications and/or supplements as directed.

  • Absolutely not. Your dog will receive only the food and items that you provide for them. You will receive an intake form to complete that will cover many topics and provide an opportunity for you to share valuable information with me before their stay.

  • Intact males and females are welcome, with a requirement being that intact females be not within 2 months of their heat cycle.

  • If your 6 month old puppy is crate trained, able to relax on their own, and has a basic working level of obedience training, they can absolutely book a boarding stay! If your puppy is struggling with resting in their crate, or progress with their obedience and training feels lacking, a Board & Train program may be a great option for you and your dog. We can explore those options at our initial assessment together!

  • For day and overnight boarding, your dog should be generally familiar with the crate and be able to relax without difficulty.

If you and your dog are struggling with crate training, let's chat! Perhaps a Board & Train program is better suited.

  • Many of my clients have or have had separation anxiety struggles, and the vast majority do very well during their stay. Each dog is different, and their varied histories, behaviours and current training will determine the best approach to take to allow them to have a successful and restful stay. At our initial assessment session, we can discuss this in detail and tailor a plan that will work for you and your dog.

If your dog's struggles are significant, I may suggest a Board and Train option before standard boarding is appropriate.

  • For sure. I am skilled and knowledgeable in handling reactive dogs and keeping them safe from other dogs, humans, and their own poor choices.

Any dog with a history of aggression or a tendency for aggressive behaviour, is required to be muzzle trained in order to book a stay.

  • Although your pup may have these luxuries and liberties at their own home, there is no free roaming, couch privileges, or bed sharing while they stay with me.

For the safety of all dogs and humans in the space, dogs will sleep and rest in their own assigned crates, and have 1:1 attention for outings, walks, training and yard breaks.

  • Drop off and pick up times for day and overnight boarding are:

    Between 8 to 9:30am and 4 to 5:30pm

Extended hours available upon request and are at the discretion of the trainer.

  • If you require longer day boarding hours, please inquire. Extended hours rates may apply to day boarding over 9 and 12 hrs.

Depending on your desired times, an overnight boarding stay may be suggested.
